Course Description:
This course will be offering Introductory to
Intermediate Martial Arts training of Tae Kwon Do. The Style in this course is
recognized as part of the official American Tae Kwon Do Association, and is a part
of World Tae Kwon Do Federation. Tae Kwon Do is a recognized Martial Arts style
of the International Olympic committee.

Course
Objectives:
The goal is the unity of Mind and Body (Jung Shin Tong IL), Self-Discipline, to reach down inside and find out the way you can control mind to release inner power with the mental training. On facing to the point that body feels sore and tired, it is the moment to train to push for the limit to attain indomitable spiritual power. Other aspect of training is to develop to control emotions, the sense of politeness to others, respectful attitude to elders and seniors, responsible attitude to community, and country.

There will be one essay, minor strip tests for Poom Se ( forms ), Ho Sin Sool ( self defense ), steps, kicking, and promotion test
in the end of a semester year.

Homework: Every morning before
breakfast, 10 minutes exercise of stretching, aerobics, work- out is required
to keep-up with this course.
Grading
Policy for Class Participation: Participation items include: Attendance,
Punctuality, Uniting with instructions, attentive attitude. The main points of
scores are the amount of Ki Happ
(dedication & concentration) to be exalted which enhance the speed, power
and coordination. Disruption will be subtracted as minus points. Disruptive, lazy
or disrespectful attitude, Tardy, Unexcused absence, Class suspension will
result in minus points accordingly.
